The ADDC seminar is the required seminar for those pursuing certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner. 8 hours, CEU's available. NCCDP, (National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners) is recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and also an approved vendor by the System for Award Management (SAM). ADDC seminar will be presented by Live ZOOM, Tuition is $210.00 per students, (discounts are available) and textbook is included with tuition. If p to have a physical student handbook instead of an e-book, you may reach out to me with the above e-mail address. The ADDC curriculum includes the following Modules: -Overview, diagnosis, prognosis, assessments tools, medication. -Communication & feeling -Depression and repetitive behaviors. -Wandering, hoarding. -Aging, intimacy and staff concerns in home care and long-term care setting. Aggressive behavior and catastrophic reactions. -Culture diversity. -Environment. -Pain, Nutrition -Bathing, Toileting, Dressing, falls (information provided in student handout and notebook. -Staff and family support. -Spirituality -Death & dying -Activities -Recognizing elder abuse. upon successful completion of the seminar, you will receive a Certificate of Attended, if you wish for a decorative physical copy by mail. Both requested physical textbook and or certificate, will procure, shipping & handling at your expense. To Prevent a forfeit, of your tuition- The seminar is 8 hours, with 1 hour lunch break (meal not included) and two 15 minutes. To prevent the forfeit of your tuition 1). You will need to submit a written cancellation, to CCC, 1 weeks before schedule seminar date. You will receive, a refund, minus $ 75.00 administrative fee mailed 15 business days. 2). Log in or arrive to the schedule ADDC seminar on time. This includes returning from breaks. I will be unable to receive calls on the day of the seminar. Note: Have tuition paid in, 2 weeks before schedule ADDC seminar. For physical textbook mailed to your home, pay tuition, 15 business days before the seminar. If CCC, cancel the seminar, CCC, reserve the right to cancel seminars due to insufficient enrollment, travel delay due to bad weather or other condition as illness, or other unforeseen circumstances and will not be held responsible, for student's lost time, or travel cost.
